Financial dimensions button - GL

Posted on by 338

Hi all,

when I create a new general journal, I have a button "Financial dimensions":

could you please explain, what exact functions the three options - account, offset account, payment fee account - have here and when exactly are the active?

Thank you a lot!

the payment fee account button let you specify the financial dimension for the GL account if you are charging a payment fee to customer.

The buttons are there to specify the financial dimension (Business / department / cost center or whatever you may be using for financial dimensions etc.) for the journal line. the button would get enabled when you enter a line. In the grid you see the account and offset account.
