In Microsoft Learning Portal you have a few good training materials.

In some training courses, you have the possibility to connect to a Virtual Machine to learn development with an already setup VM.

    Hi nunomaia

Thanks for answer. I tried those but I am super confuse now.

Do I need Visual Studio premium license?

Can I develop for SaaS version using my own laptop or do I need VM and Azure?

    Any other software or licenses?

for now I just need to know what software or licenses I need.

    Thanks for your help

In Development VM provided by Microsoft, Visual Studio ( Professional ) it will request a Visual Studio Subscription to activate Visual Studio.

Yes, you can use your laptop. You have to download VM from LCS to execute in your laptop

    Hi nunomaia

    Thanks.

In summery I need VM (virtual Machine) from Microsoft, then need Visual Studio Subscription to activate it and that is all I need. Is this accurate? How I can get VM from MS?

I am confused on VM from LCS. Can you point me to the right article or resource for this?

    Go to https://lcs.dynamics.com/V2

Open asset library and download VM.

Any Visual Studio needs a valid license to be activated.

I always prefer cloud hosted VM's, generated by LCS

You also need to follow some manual steps documented in learn.microsoft.com/.../access-instances
