Wave 1 2025 Focused View error in Activity entity

Focused view added to Documents, Tasks, Team announcements, and Activities in Wave 1 2025.  Activities doesn't have a main form so it errors.

    The error you're encountering—"This is a system entity that does not have a main form. Opening a record form for this entity is not supported"—occurs because the Activities entity in Dynamics 365 does not have a main form by design. As a result, the Focused View feature introduced in Wave 1 2025 cannot be applied to this entity.

    Suggested Resolution:
    To address this limitation, you can consider the following approaches:
    1. Alternative Entity Configuration:
      If the Activities entity is critical for your use case, explore whether related entities (e.g., Tasks or Documents) can be configured to meet your requirements. These entities support Focused View and can be customized further.
    2. Custom Solution:
      If you need to work with Activities specifically, you may need to create a custom entity that mirrors the functionality of Activities but includes a main form. This would allow you to leverage Focused View without encountering the error.
    3. Disable Focused View for Activities:
      If Focused View is not essential for Activities, you can disable it for this entity to prevent the error from occurring.
