Workflow approval in procurement module

Hi Guys,

After my colleague submits the Purchase Requisition for approval, I am not able to approve it. I think there's a problem with our procurement workflow.

But the workflow user has been assigned to me also "zuraij".

Please let me know what I should do to fix this. or if anyone could help me create a new workflow from scratch, I would appreciate it very much.

Hi mzuraij,

When user submits document to workflow, system creates workflow instance. Could you check the workflow instance and check the workflow history ? Is there any error message in the workflow processing ? Is the workflow batch job running ?

You should check the workflow history and check if the workflow batch processes are running correctly. In the workflow history you can check if ist assigned to you, if it crashed or if it stuck somewhere.

Please send us the workflow history so we can check it with you

Can you share details of the workflow history.

It might be the case that the workflow got stock somewhere along the way.

Can you please ask a colleague who has more user rights to test this process?

Alternatively, can you ask your IT to give you more rights to test this process?

Hi Zuraij,

Please check below link and follow it and I supposed this is because of user privileges restriction or Firewall blocking it.

Hi Mzuraij,

It looks like the user don't have appropriate security configured.

Make sure the user have relevant role/duty/privilege i.e. Purchasing agent/Manager granted to approve workflow work items as well as user relations configured.
