Multi-Company Smartlists

Posted on by 20

Does anybody know how to grant access to Multi-Company Smartlists in dynamics GP 2015? I tried granting the user the following privileges but the user still cannot see the Multi-Company Smartlists even after logging out and in again.

I'm guessing you used SmartList Builder and/or SmartList Designer to create these cross-company reports?  If so, when you create these, it likely created a new item in the dictionary (thus you'll have to grant access to this report in user security).

Open the security task that you want to grant access to (make sure it's assigned to the role & then to the user that you're working with), select Product = 'SmartList', Type = SmartList Object, Series = SmartList Objects & then grant access to the report.
