Custom activity in multi-language deployment

Hi,

I've got an on-premise deployment with english as base language and german language pack installed. I created a few custom activities and I have a report that lists all activities regarding a specific case. As long as my display language is english, everything is fine. But if I call the report with german as display language, the "activity type" column is empty for my custom activities.

I exported, completed and reimported translations for my custom activities plus activity pointer entity, but activity type information seems not to be part of what is managed here.

I know that activity type names are stored in "StringMap" table. I had a look there and noticed that for my custom activities there were only entries with language code 1033 - no entries with 1031 for german.

Now the question is: How do I get the activity types of my custom activities translated?

I'm looking forward to your suggestions.

Hi!

Thank you for your suggestion! The report is deployed for All Languages. The problem is that there are no translations for the activity types in the database and I don't know any supported way to get them there...

Have you tried with the selecting All Languages option while deploying the Report in the CRM?

Please check the below screenshot.
