    Hi Altaf,
Regarding the minimum configuration, you can simply refer to the following points to choose the right computer:
    • Processor (Central Processing Unit): A multi-core processor with virtualization support (such as Intel Core i5 or i7) is recommended.
    • RAM (Internal Memory): For a smoother experience, it’s best to use 16 GB RAM or more.
    • Storage: You will need a lot of disk space to accommodate the VM image, which can be very large. It is recommended to use a solid state drive (SSD) for better performance.
    • Operating system: Make sure your laptop is running a compatible 64-bit operating system with the latest updates.
    • Virtualization software: You will need virtualization software like Microsoft Hyper-V to run the VM.
Alternatively, you can briefly browse this blog post which mentions the disk space and memory required to set up D365FOVM for local development.

    Hi Altaf,

I will provide my recommended minimum configuration. It can run on an i5 or similar processor with 16GB of memory and enough disk space.

A higher range processor, more memory and a separate SSD disk running the VHD file will speed up the performance of the environment.
