Weird issues with Ribbon Workbench 2016

Hello guys,

I made some changes to the OOB "Assign" button in the native "opportunity" entity. Basically added a security role check JS file and now users with only two security roles can view the button even if the other security roles have the Assign permissions. My logic works perfectly in one environment.
However, when I import the solution to another environment it does not work. (Solution consisted of just the opportunity entity , the JS file and client customizations- Application Ribbon). So I wanted to check what was happening and opened Ribbon workbench 2016(In the environment where it was failing, there was RW 2013. I deleted that and downloaded RW 2016). When I open the RW 2016 and open the corresponding solution, I am getting the following error. I am deployment admin by the way.  Any idea what might be causing this error?

    Hello Jim,

I can't really help you with the error message you are getting in Ribbon Workbench, but if your JS display rule references the two business units by GUID, it won't necessarily work between environments.

    Regards,

    Rasmus
