Bulk Change purchase order expected receipt date

Hello,

First time posting to site so hopefully I am in the right place and have included the right information.

Both myself and the business are new to BC and to ERP systems so please be gentle.

We are running an MRP system through BC with a Just in Time purchasing strategy.

Sometimes our production requirements changes in terms of scheduling eg. we might need to push orders already placed through the MRP system by 1 week for instance.
 - this may affect a large number of purchase orders to a large number of suppliers.

Is there a way that I can change the a field for example the "expected receipt date" and have the system issue REVISED PURCHASE ORDERS with the new date (ie. the old date plus the 1 week delay)?

It seems likely that this is something that the system should be able to accommodate but I don't really know how to look to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Neil

Hi, If you don't want to customize, there are two standard methods to try.
    1. Using Configuration Package

    2. Using Edit in Excel

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
