Editing non en-us labels?

Where are the non en-us label files located in D365FO of standard models? You can't even select another language in the label editor besides en-us, the dropdown only shows this default language. How do you search for a label e.g. in Norwegian bokmål in the OneBox virtual machine?

If you check the label files from application explorer all the standard files are en-US only. If you add new label files in non en-US language then you'll be able to select those from language dropdown of label editor.

My DEV application doesn't contain source label files for languages other than en-US. I assume it's the case with you as well.

Nevertheless you shouldn't edit standard label files.

I wasn't planning to edit the standard labels but to use them in another language besides English. In DEV I don't seem to be even able to search for a label in the desired language as in AX2012.

My bad, it's been a long week. Or month.

This label thing brings up problems when our customers report errors using the localized label and we can't access them directly in the DEV environment.

According to Microsoft, there is no plan to provide source label files for all languages. They want to support search across languages, but there is no timeline for it in the moment.
