Modify Word Template action on Segment Page does not work in BC Online

I am attempting to leverage the new Word Templates in Business Central Online - latest version 22.3.

I thought we would have a standard weekly email using a Word Template and add content only when we were in the Segment and ready to Log it.

However, it copies the Word Template to One Drive but the file is named Temp Template and has no extension. Since One Drive doesn't know it is a Word File you cannot use online editing and need to download the file which seems a terrible work flow - if it even works.

This was not how the demo I saw worked when they did the release event.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Despite some confusing user experience and terminology we have got it to work with emailing using the word template without trying to modify in the segment.

I have the same question (0)
