Treasury - how to reverse the booking of a stocks cost price

Hi,

A stock purchase (financial fixed asset) was booked with the wrong cost price in the treasury department of NAV 2013. The system will not let me reverse the booking. I cannot repost the booking either. How do I cancel the booking?

Hello,

I want to confirm that you booked the stock purchase as debits Investment In Company and credits Cash. Your Treasury Dept.. booked the entry incorrectly and you want to correct the entry. You want to reverse the initial Journal Entry. When you say you cannot reverse or repost the booking can you explain why not? Are you trying to post back to the original Posting Date? If yes, have you updated your User Setup Allow Posting From and Allow Posting To to fall within that Posting Date? NAV 2013 does not have cancel or reverse General Journal function. It was added to NAV and BC in later versions.

If you can explain why you cannot reverse and repost I can direct you further.
