Just want to ask the experts whether there is any Business Central tax localization or any localization for Malta W1 version. Would appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance.

Yes, Malta's version is based on the W1 version. During tenant creation, you can select 'MT' as the country. Most of the W1 setups are compatible with Malta. When creating a new environment, ensure you select the country code 'MT.'

Hi!

Malta version is based on W1 version. You can select MT during tenant creation, most of the W1 setups works for Malta.

We found a partner there named OneTech who helped us with setups and user training for our Maltese entity.

Localization for Malta

Hi, localization for this region is handled by partners, just like in Japan.

For this type of BC, the version is all W1 version. You can try to find solutions from local partners on AppSource.

I tried searching for Malta's localization, but there are no partner submissions yet.

Changing the region field in the User Settings page is not correct. The region simply affects the number and date format of fields in the application, among a few other things. The region field and localization of an environment in Business Central are two different things.

As per Microsoft, there is a Malta localization available - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/compliance/apptest-countries-and-translations

When you create a new environment, you will have to select the Country Code MT
