I want to create a field wherein multiple values can be added

Hello,

Essentially, I want to create a field wherein multiple sets of information can be added to an account.

Our clients have lots of different sites and instead of doing multiple accounts for each site we want to have one account with all of the sites in it.

Is there any way this can be done?

I've already tried several methods but none of them have worked so far, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Josh

How much information are we talking about here? I feel like multiple account records under one parent record is the best way to go.

I think you need to create separate entity for sites  and then create N:N relationship with account, so that you can have multiple account associated with multiple sites .  If you want to store more details about site then don't create direct N:N relationship, use middle entity to store more information. This middle entity will have relationship with account and site.

Another option is multi select drop down (Online CRM Only). but with multi-select there are some limitation in importing data.

I have achieved something similar by creating multiselect optionset-

It depends on the client, some could only have one or two sites and others have hundreds.

Okay cool, that sounds like it could work. How would I go about doing this?

Hi, this sounds great. So would I be creating a new entity and creating a N:N relationship to the account entity?

How would I go about doing this?
