Workflows Approval Via Email (Link to approve and Reject does not appear in the email)

Hi everyone. I have a little problem with this configuration.

For some reason that I don’t understand, the links to approve or reject does not appear in the email to click them.

I configure the links in the text of the workflows with the option "Insert Placeholder":

  • %Workflow.Link to approve%
  • %Workflow.Link to reject%

But nothing is shown in the email, I check and double check everything. I follow all the steps in this documents but nothing

I apply the configuration of the "Inbound ports" and select the service operation "SysWorkflowApprovalService.applyUrlAction" indicated in the document. 

I don’t think at this point that the problem is in the de Azure Configuration, the ADFS or the Microsoft AX Connectors for Mobile Application, it must be some configuration directly in Dynamics AX,

If anyone can help me, I will appreciated.

    Maybe you could post this as a separate question as it doesn't seem directly related to this posts question. It seems like you are having issues with emails going out of the system not with the approve by email functionality itself...

    The Base URL that we got through the azure bus service?


    I have configured that as well but i am not getting emails for approval :(

    I manage to solve this, it was a simple parameter with the default URL in the workflows parameters configuration.

    System Administration / Setup/ Workflow / Workflows Parameters - "Base URL to approve/reject workflows"

    Hi,

    Check issue search on Lifecycle services. There were some issues solved around this feature. I don't know if it also will solve your problem.

    I'm experiencing the same in R2, using an Exchange Server. Interested if anyone has a proposed solution.
