Bulk import of attachment for a particular activity into CRM

Hi,

I'd like to know how to use the data import template to attach an attachment to an activity in bulk. I am migrating cases from another system into CRM. Some of the activities have attachments and need to be attached to the activity which is attached to the case. I however cannot configure the data map to do this.

Help?

Hi J,

It is not possible to migrate email attachments using excel import. You need to use some other methods/tools to migrate attachments such as Scribe/ Kingsway Soft SSIS toolkit or write your own custom code to read the attachment and create it against an activity in CRM.
