Hi!
Check this link Computed View Columns in AX 2012 (codecrib.com). The article is about AX2012 but it's applicable to D365FFO.
Keep in mind, that computed column - it's the SQL query result.
Hi Ghazi,
You can find information how you can add a virtual field in the documentation. Computed columns and virtual fields in data entities - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs
Hi,
As far as I understand it, there is no way you can add calculated columns to the entity class in this scenario.
Unless you convert the calculation result rows to columns,
but such a calculation column cannot be bound to an entity class.
So do you want to add calculated columns or to add a total row at the end ?
Total row in the end
An entity is a collection of records. Not a collection of records plus additional fields (such as your total).
But you can create some kind of report with this data (e.g. an Excel report based on the data entity).
