Hi,

I am trying to find some approaches to get details of a field on the form through sdk. Specifically who modified the field and what was the old and new value.

Can someone please point me some information on how to handle this? It will be a console application that I need to use these details in.

thanks for any help!

    Hi meenoo,

You could use RetrieveAttributeChangeHistoryRequest() method to achieve this. Please refer to this doc:

RetrieveAttributeChangeHistoryRequest Class (Microsoft.Crm.Sdk.Messages) | Microsoft Docs

    PowerApps-Samples/cds/orgsvc/C#/AuditEntityData at master · microsoft/PowerApps-Samples · GitHub

    Hi,

Have you turned on Auditing for your instance from system settings?

Also, Entity Auditing should be truned on and Field auditing as well then only you will be able be to retrieve audit data of who changed what using below SDK method -

    docs.microsoft.com/.../microsoft.crm.sdk.messages.retrieveattributechangehistoryrequest

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!
