Dynamics GP in Brazil

Hello All

 Are there any Partners or customers using Dynamics GP in Brazil? I am aware AX is the main Dynamics ERP product promoted in Brazil by Microsoft. I suspect this is primarily due to language client issues. GP will be used in English if it is implemented there. Is there any regulatory requirement that may stop a company using GP in Brazil.

    We have a customer with a sales and manufacturing plant based in Brazil. They log in to GP installed on a server based in Europe using Terminal Services. This is as an aside, as the server could easily be based locally in Brazil. There are no regulations that would stop an organisation in Brazil using GP as far as I know.

     Yes it does. The same will apply here: the server will be located in the UK and access is via Citrix. I wanted to confirm thee wasn't any legal/regulatory requirement for the finance system to be approved/certified before it is used in Brazil.

    Not as far as I know, but I will check with my customer. The remote link works quite well and they are very happy with it. The Brazilian office / company process all the data for the Brazil operation. The server is actually located in Ireland (not far from the UK!!!) so its almost a mirror ser up to your requirement. One issue is bandwidth / connection speeds / availability of a connection ... from time to time...but overall its fine.

     The client already has GP running in Europe, so this will be used in Brazil as well via Citrix. The client will train the users in Brazil or will ask the Partner in Europe to deliver it.
