Configuration Package for Depreciation Book (5612) Not uploading No. of Depreciation Years

I found a thread from early 2022 that seems to dead end and went unsolved, but I am currently facing similar problem.  I've successfully uploaded my Fixed Asset catalogue using T5600 and have moved on to uploading depreciation book T5612. I am successfully uploading with no errors, but my depreciation years will not populate and calculate the depreciation end date. I have attached a sampling of my file below.  Some other important considerations/troubleshooting I have already tried:

  • I am populating depreciation years only, not both years and months.
  • No depreciation end date is defined. I have narrowed down the columns so I am only using what's absolutely necessary.
  • The field specifies decimal format and the format in BC UI also reads as decimal with two places so I've tried converting field to number format to two decimals.  I've also tried to copy formatting from fresh download of config package to mimic the formatting from the source file as best as I can (Screen cap of my data below. The number format in that screen cap mimics what I get in the source file).
  • Just for fun, I took out the acquisition date field in case it was causing some confusion. It's later in the processing order so it shouldn't interfere but at this point I'll try anything.
  • I am able to enter a number in the UI Years field and depreciation date calculates no problem. I can't do this 1500+ times however.

Thanks in advance! Also, for reference I am linking the original post I found with some replies.

Not fully sure why You don't succeed on this, but You can use the Ending date in import - just calculate in Excel +10 years from Starting date.

Thanks for the suggestion. This worked for me when I was testing in my Sandbox environment.  I did, however, execute a successful upload with No. of Depreciating years when I started implementing in our production environment.  The solution for this issue may just be scrap/start over with upload.  I did paste values in the No. of Depreciating Years column which didn't work for me initially but did today.   Thanks for the response Kaspars.
