Advanced Filter using the Date criteria - Before Today

In the Advanced Filter there are many options when using a date field.  I want to pull all Leads that are created before TODAY.  There is the On or Before and then you have to specify a specific date.  I do not want a "hard coded" date, but always to show everything created before TODAY.  Is there a way to do this in the Advanced Filter??

    Hi,

I think you should use in your advanced find, Creation Date = Last X Hours or Last X days with that you could see the leads created before Today.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards :)

Unfortunately that still includes today's date.

Ok, then use Creation Date = LastDay.

Again that will not work because it includes TODAY's data.  I don't want that included in the data that is returned.

A filter "before today" is not available for DateTime fields.

You need to specify the date or create a boolean field to mark today's leads (and run daily an update when they get old) in order to perform your query.

    Hi Cindi,

Out of the box view in CRM does not have this filter criteria.

You should create a custom view, see this:

    social.microsoft.com/.../how-to-create-a-custom-view-showing-older-than-x-days-ms-dynamics

    THank you.

Thanks, that was what I though.  Would be nice if I could just type BEFORE TODAY.

What I would do is select "Last x Days" filter and enter value something like "365".

This would bring all the items in last 365 days for that date field.

Wow almost 3 years after and Microsoft did not fix this issue permanently,

Am trying to create a view for past members.

So the date should be before today.

please how do I do that.

    Regards.
