Deploying plugins with PostImages

Hello guys,

I have a plugin which has two steps - create and update. Both the steps have a PostImage of the entity registered on it. Now if I want to deploy this plugin to another environment , I would include the plugin, the plugin type , the two SDK Processing steps - Create and Update in the solution. My question is , would the corresponding PostImages be included in the SDK Processing steps? If not, how do I deploy the PostImages? They are an essential part of my plugin and will throw errors without them..

Hello,

Yes, plugin step images will be automatically deployed to the target environment, just make sure you have all the steps included in your solution for starting deployment.

Hi Donald,

You should add the required SDK Message Processing Steps along with the Plugin Assemblies to the solution. All the information about the step like the step properties and the image information will be included with it.
