Getting an unexpected error while performing any configuration or doing any setting in Dynamics 365 Marketing app

  • Error while creating a segment/Marketing Forms/Marketing Emails

Getting an error while moving a segment, Marketing email or Marketing form from draft state to Go-live state.

Steps to reproduce:

    • Navigate to Marketing Area in Dynamics 365 Marketing App
    • Navigate to Customers section(Left hand side)> Segments
    • Click on +New Dynamics segment
    • Enter the mandatory fields and click save
    • An error message appears on the top ribbon bar (Screenshot attached)

  • Social Configuration Issue

Getting an error with an error code 0x0 while setting up social media accounts in production env

    • Navigate to settings Area in Dynamics 365 Marketing App
    • Navigate to Marketing settings > Advanced settings > Social Configuration
    • Click on +Create configuration
    • Enter Configuration name and Select a channel in the quick create form and click Create
    • An unexpected error pops up (Screenshot Attached)

    Hi,

    Have you checked the privileges for the security role of the logging in user?

    Please navigate to Advanced Settings > Settings > Security > Users / Security Roles to check the above information.

    For the 1st error, it is necessary to have the privileges to the segment-related entities.

    For the 2nd error, it is necessary to have the privileges to the Social Media Account-related entities.
