We are unable to invoice the remaining quantity on a purchase order line which is partially invoiced.
The product receipt is generated for total quantity and the invoice is matched with the product receipt but with half the quantity .
There is a Known issue which is by design in D365.

REMARKS
This is by design. The user is provided two warning messages that clearly indicate the consequences of their actions, using this scenario. The key is that they need to ensure that the invoice quantity equals the matched product receipt quantity.
Please provide some suggestions how can we invoice the remaining quantity on the purchase order line.
