Hi,

I have created a Web test for CRM 2015, the webtest runs and does not through any errors however the data is not getting created in the CRM 2015 application.

I wanted to know how does CRM work in terms of considering the received request as new request

which elements form the request need to be dynamic

Regards,

NJW

I don't think we can use VSTS to test Dynamics CRM2015 since each request requires special client side Ajax calls. There was a toolkit for testing CRM2011 but out has not been updated for CRM2015 - pinpoint.microsoft.com/.../12884915630

    Thanks Scott for your help

I did do some recording and analysis and I was able to find some thing that said invalid WRPC token however the answer to that was to enable the "IgnoreTokenCheck" from the registry but I was looking for more of a solution that can be done form the Webtest coding point where in I could extract this WRPC token and utilize it in the request more over I checked for a WRPC token in the request body and header but was not able to find any let me know if you have any suggestions

    Regards,

    NJW

Hi - take a look at the performance toolkit because it has codes web tests that you could probably adapt.

    Hi NJW,

Did you guys find any solution for CRM 2015 web test? We also working with CRM 2015 Online web tests, we observed that for each web request CRM is generating new CRMWRPCToken.

Another issue when we execute the same web test after couple of hours all requests all failing with 401 - unauthorized, access denied message. Do we need to generate Token ourselves ? or any other things we need to specifically follow for CRM 2015 Online web test performance?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Shaik

The only way to get the CRMWPCToken for CRM online is to look at the WRPCTokenUrl value in the HTML page.

Thanks for the responses. For now we are using Fiddler to record the scenario and exporting it as visual studio web test and playing them in Visual Studio 2013. Its working fine.

    HI NJW,

I am not sure of the actual issue you are facing. We are also performing Web test for CRM 2015 online. We are able to successfully create/update record. What we are doing is recording the scenario in Fiddler-->Exporting as VS web test -->Playing it in Visual Studio which is working perfectly for us.

    Thanks,

    Shaik
