I'm working in GP Solomon GL and I released some journal entries in the incorrect period. How can I unrelease them to correct the period

    If you this Dynamics SL (Solomon) and the batches are still unposted, you can go into Initialization mode and then in GL>Journal transactions. Bring up any unposted batch and change the period to post.  If you are not able to do so, then your user ID doesn't have rights and you would need to sign in with someone who does have initialization rights.

    If the batch is already posted and you are using 2011,  then in GL>Journal transactions,  bring up the posted batches. There is an Icon right beside the batch number that says to correct journal transactions.   Your options are to Reverse,  Reverse and Correct  or Copy.

    Otherwise, if you are using an older version and don't have these options, then you will need to enter 2 new batches - one that is the opposite of the one you don't want and a new one that goes to the correct period.   Note that to make this easier you can bring up the wrong batch and copy (ctrl-C) the detail lines and then  paste them (ctrl-v) them into a new batch.
