Hi,

Presently we are using CRM internally (insurance) and wanted to explore using CRM externally for some of our clients.

The rough requirements are that they not see each others data etc.

Would it be best to do two separate environments (internal and external) or many (one internal and many external exclusive to a client).

    You can have one environment and set up security roles and teams to limit what people see, but if it's sensitive you may want to have different environments to ensure there's no crosstalk. If it's easy to set up a second environment that's what I would do, but I think either choice is valid.

    You might be best to use a custom portal so you can decide what data to show to which external users, and simplify their experience. You can decide what sort of authentication to use as well - username/password or hook up with external providers such as Google, FB, LinkedIn, etc
