Acquire images into Dynamics CRM using WIA (Windows Image Acquisition)

Hi there,

Has anyone had any success in linking Dynamics CRM 2013 on premises to an external scanner. We are looking to automate acquiring images to be stored against the contact entity in the default entity image (mug shot) and also to acquire a second image (scanned signature from a paper form) to be stored as an attachment with a standardised name in the annotation entity against the contact entity.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

John

    Hi John,

You can do this with Com automation in Silverlight. See elegantcode.com/.../silverlight-4-com-interop-and-the-cool-stuff-you-can-do-with-it
