Custom home page on GP web client

Hi,

I have customized the home web page for the end user so it shows only the timesheet entry part. If I try to go to the menu bar go to financial as an example then to home page , then I see that the time management and timesheet entry parts are showing. I check the customize home page and then I see that it checked the time management part by itself so the reason it showed. Is this related to the role definition for the home page?
