How to pick quantity under "quantity not in shipment" ?

Output order quantity moves to "quantity not in shipment" everytime I pick item partially from sales order . For example, If Qty is 10000 Kg in Sales Order ( output order ) and 6000 Kg is picked and registered than remaining 4000 kg moves to "quantity not in shipment" and I am unable to use that quantity for further shipment.

Any solution to this issue ? Qty-not-in-shipment-SO-1748.png

    Hi,

From memory, there are two solutions.

The first is to not simply update the quantity in Picking list registration from 10,000 to 6,000. Instead, split the line (in to two lines of 6,000 and 4,000) and cancel the line for 4,000.

Alternatively you need to go to the Sales order line and have a look at the Output order. Except I can't remember what to do, because now I test it in a very recent version of R3, I find that AX has automatically cancelled the quantity (which I did not Picking list update) and I am able to post it on a new picking list without doing any extra work.
