Planning Worksheets - BC 19.2 SaaS

Hello Everyone!

I have 2 questions about Plannig Worksheet:

1. When I run the Planning Worksheet in BC, it will calculate the demand for me based on the entered DEMAND FORECAST - if I introduce 5 pieces in a given week, he will plan to create one production order for 5 pieces - is it possible to configure it in a standard way so that he can plan 5 orders with 1 piece?

2. Is it possible to exclude demand from sales orders from the calculation in the planning worksheet? So that the demand is calculated only on the basis of forecast, not forecast + sales orders?

Thank you in advance!

Are you using multiple Locations and Stockkeeping Units?  If so, you will need to set the Planning Parameter on the SKU for the suggestion to change for that Location.

I even ran a quick test in the latest cloud environment to make sure nothing had changed.  I received a planning suggestion of 5 lines, each with a quantity of 1.

if you put the max in item card to 1 it will generate 5 production order and each for 1 PCS.

Ad. 1 Ben, you mean Max. Order Quantity  on Item Card? I fill "1" and system still generate 1 Production Order of 5 PCS.

    1. You can set your Max. Order Quantity to be 1, which would generate 5 Production Orders each for a Qty. of 1.

    2. Within the Demand Forecast, if you are using the Sales Forecast, the system will only do Forecast + Sales if your Sales exceed your Forecasted Sales Amount for the Item.
