How to define the right order when importing tables from one company to another?

Posted on by 304

Hello,

I'm importing all the tables from one company to another using Rapid Start, but I'm getting many errors. I.e, the system is trying to import the vendor table before importing Payment Terms and thus failing as the Payment term defined in the vendor cant be found. Is there a way I can know the right order to do the import and how to implement this order?

Thanks

Alejandra

    Hi

    Alok provided a solution.

Another method is this: in any page if you have drop down list then it means it opens to another table. if you upload a table that has info for that field you must first upload the table for drop down field.

The other method is to use Tables -> Functions -> Get Related Tables  and then select all tables and export then import. Keep in mind that if you already imported some tables like City then you do not need them in package again.

    Hi,

Before import master data better if you import basic configurations config package. It is base system configuration package and includes most of setup table required to setup master data.

In case if you not find this configuration package in your company than refer cronus company and export package from cronus and port into your source company but do not apply other wise system will push data from cronus
