I have a query regarding assemble to order mode in AX. we plan to do Make to stock on lower levels(Semi finished goods) and do the final assembly based on Customer orders
Would the below flow be a correct representation of Assemble -to-Order?
Make to stock :
Upload demand forecast->Run masterplanning to calculate net requirements->Create Planned kanban order ->Procure items -> produce->Put away Semi-finished goods.
Assemble to Order:
Sales order->Event Kanban->create kanban order->Assemble semi-finished goods-> Ship Finished goods.
is it okay to use kanban at both levels?
