Hi,
the new button added to customer settlement history is meant to show all linked settled transactions but in our case it comes up empty. Are we missing a set up?
so if you do not have a copy of the remittance you are a bit stuck because you will spend infinite amount of time to figure out what was allocated with that payment so I was hoping the new added button will sort that issue and allow view of the entire lot as in invoice and credit and payment. as per bellow from the microsoft release, this should have sorted that issue. What I am saying is that if I use that button nothing comes up so not sure if there is a set-up which needs to be done for this to work

The ability to view all the transactions in a settlement voucher with a single click can significantly increase efficiency when you're viewing or working with settlement history for vendors and/or customers.
Feature details
A new button, named Settlement voucher, has been added to the Vendor settlement history and Customer settlement history pages. You can use the button to view all transactions in a settlement voucher in one step. This feature is available by default and can save time when performing reconciliations when you try to view all the transactions in one settlement voucher.
Yes, For that case, you need to be on the credit note.
that only shows you what was settled against the payment, not what the system has allocated against to any credit notes the customer has taken,.
example
Invoice no1 £10
Invoice no 2 £15
Invoice no 3 £20
Credit note no 1 -£5
Credit note no 2 -£10
Cash received -30
If I go on the cash line the history will show me Invoice no1 £10, invoice no2 £15, invoice no 3 £5. It will not show me the credits and the fact that invoice no3 was partially allocated to the csah received and partially to one of the credits
Hi,
On the customer transaction, there is a button called "Settlement". When you select History, you can see the transaction that you settled with.
Hi Billur, thank you for the swift response
Are you saying that I can see only transactions settled through customer payment journal, or can I see transactions which have been settled through the settle transaction screen from the customer grid? I have tried both types anyhow and I can't see all settled transactions.
what I am after is a screen where you can see the full settlement, the system splits it as in if customer is paying 5 invoices and one credit note, the settlement history or the view settlement splits it in 2 and shows what was allocated towards the payment only and to view the rest I have to go in view related and filter by the settlement date. Sometimes doing that does not help either and I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what was settled against what. We have settlements that go over more than 100 lines sometimes and it is difficult to follow it back if you need to
Hi,
It is added to see the settlement voucher if exist. It is not necessary to create a voucher if there is a settlement.
Are you sure that the settlement voucher is created while settlement?
Do you see the settlement type transaction on customer transactions?
