Hello,

I would like to create a simple flow when the Sales Order Lines has "work Type = PURCREVIEW" to send an email to the "Assigned User ID" is that possible?

I have the same question (0)

Hi, this field does not exist in the standard API (In Power Automate, BC is accessed through API), as of now, you need to create a new API page to do so.

PS: Dynamics 365 Business Central: Can we extend standard APIs? – Download Standard Source Code for APIs

    Thanks.

Yes, this is possible using Power Automate with a flow that triggers when a Sales Order Line is created or updated in Dynamics 365 Sales (or Finance & Operations, depending on your setup). Below is a solution approach:

Solution: Power Automate Flow for Sales Order Line Work Type Notification

    1. Trigger

    • Use Dataverse Trigger: "When a row is added or modified"
    • Select Table Name: "Sales Order Lines" (typically salesorderdetail in Dataverse for D365 Sales, or SalesLine in F&O)
    • Scope: Set to Organization (or filter as needed)

    2. Condition: Work Type = PURCREVIEW

    • Add a Condition step:
      • Column: Work Type (worktype or equivalent field)
      • Operator: is equal to
      • Value: PURCREVIEW

    3. Get Assigned User Email

    • Use Dataverse Action: "Get a row by ID"
      • Table Name: Users (systemuser)
      • Row ID: Assigned User ID (assigneduserid from Sales Order Line)
    • Extract Primary Email (internalemailaddress)

    4. Send Email Notification

    • Use "Send an email (V2)" (Office 365 Outlook)
      • To: User's Email (from previous step)
      • Subject: "New Sales Order Line Requires Review"
      • Body: Include relevant details (Order Number, Customer, etc.)

    5. Save & Test

    • Save and trigger the flow by creating/updating a Sales Order Line with Work Type = PURCREVIEW

    Optional Enhancements:

    • Add dynamic content in the email (e.g., Order ID, Customer Name)
    • Use Teams notifications instead of email
    • Log notifications in a SharePoint list for tracking

Hello  it doesn't work because on the second step I can't find anything related to "saler Order Line"
