Hi Experts,
I need to deploy build and test environment from LCS, the visual studio team services is already configured in LCS project settings. when I try to deploy it shows below error.
The personal access token configured for this project is not authorized to access the configured Visual Studio Team Services site or project. Verify that the personal access token is valid.
I have created new personal access token from DevOps and save it on LCS but issue is still the same.

Please check again if the credentials and the project or DevOps environment is correct. Probably also try to pay attention to case sensitive characters?

I can remember that the personal access token is valid for a certain period of time. Probably it has been expired? In that case, you can indeed try to remove it. Probably, you can first try it in a new project on LCS?
You can generate new token and make connection using that .When you generate token by default it set to expire in a year , you can set it to indefinite period and then try to make connection using new toke.
even after using new token if same error persist then consider opening a support ticker
for the testing, I have created a new project in Azure DevOps using process template (Agile) and linked it with LCS VSTS using PAT. its working fine with Agile template but not working with my Basic custom template.
we cant use Agile template as there are many user stories and other data saved in my existing process template, is there any way I can resolve the build environment issue in existing template.
Can you please check the access level and permission from VSTS Project settings and LCS, the account performing the tasks must have full administrator rights on both the LCS project and the VSTS project collection.

Issue is not related to access and permissions.
I can deploy the build environment if I chose Agile process template from same user and PAT.
actually its related to process template, we have used custom hybrid process template.
I am trying to use the existing one by fixing the exact issue in this process template.
Just for the update, we had escalated this issue to MS and the support engineer figured out the issue.
Actually we have used custom process template in which our team has deleted 1,2 states which was not recommended, that's why we were unable to provision build environment from LCS.
after following MS best practice below we successfully provisioned build environment.
Do not delete any work item types or out-of-the-box fields
Do not delete any state of a work item type
Do not add any required fields to a work item type
