Can one Item look up code have two costs?

Hello, I have an issue with multiple costs for the same item.  We use Microsoft RMS for a retail store many of the items we buy we do reorders of the same exact item.  The problem arises when we receive discounts on the cost of the item to us.  We want to sell the item with the correct cost attached to it, but is there a way to use the same  item look up code that has a previous cost assigned to it? for example if selling shoes we buy 12 pairs at one price and then later in the season our supplier gives us a 25% discount on any re-orders.  How can we sell the items with the correct cost to us with out changing the item look up code or the cost of the previous items sold?

RMS out of the box has no ability to do FIFO and account for the cost of this, best bet would be to either look for a add on that would do this or use the average cost option.

do you have any suggestions for an add on that would help me with this problem?

    Use the weighted average method.
