Hi,

Is it possible to invoke browser window actions from within a workflow?

For example if I have a workflow that re-opens a phone call activity, if the workflow is run from within the actual phone call in question (i.e., that particular record is open in the browser window) can I refresh the record after the workflow is run? In the example of re-opening a call my workflow works just fine, but the user has to close the call window and re-open it before they can edit the content.

Another example I'm thinking of is in scheduling follow-up calls. I am using this method http://www.powerobjects.com/2012/09/20/how-to-create-automatic-follow-up-activities-in-crm-2011/ to allow users to schedule a follow-up activity from within an open activity, but is there any way of opening that follow-up activity in a window once the workflow is run?

Unfortunately that's not an option. If you need these kinds of processes where you interact with the user, you need to write JavaScript.
