Is there a stored procedures reference document out there for GP?

I'm a developer and I'm making a web application that needs to insert data into the Applicant and Employee database tables in GP. I'd like to use the stored procedures that come with GP to do this. I'm finding that running SQL Profiler to find out what stored procedures are called for each part of the application process and new hire process is quite time consuming and tedious. Is there a reference document out there that lists out which stored procedures are called for which actions in GP and what their expected input parameters are? Thanks.

You probably don't want to call stored procedures directly. Look into eConnect and GP Web Services.

Is there a particular feature of eConnect and GP Web Services that would help me insert records into GP? If so, what is the name of it so I know how to research it further. Thanks!

    Dylan,

Here is link for Dynamics GP WebServices :msdn.microsoft.com/.../cc508424.aspx

WebMethod to create applicant : msdn.microsoft.com/.../ff622616.aspx

Web Method to create employee : msdn.microsoft.com/.../cc713398.aspx

As you are going to develop website I will prefer to use WebServices. Sometime it happen in Dynamics GP WebService we don't find webmethod but eConnect has schema in that case I created Custom Webservices using eConnect.

    eConnect : msdn.microsoft.com/.../ff623651.aspx

    Thanks

Thanks a lot Sandip! I'll have to look into these tools and learn how to use them. (After my company buys them - if they buy them)

    Dylan,

It seems to be it's free; don't know need to ask Microsoft.

    Thanks
