Hi All,
I would like to access/see the backend tables along with the relationship with other tables in NAV. Ideally an ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) would be great, is there a way I can do this using the Navigator interface or SQL Server/SSMS?
Background: I am trying to mimic pre existing Jet Reports and for that it is important for me to understand the tables and mappings. I have access to SQL server database, but there are thousands of tables and it is almost impossible to go thru each table.
Any help is much appreciated!!

Good question and one we do get asked now and then. However, NAV has +1400 tables that are all connected in one way or the other, and also some relations are to different tables depending on conditions. Many relationships are defined in C/AL code. In the past there has been some different tools like Navision Developers Toolkit, but at the moment there are no tools that I know off. If there was, then also the diagram would be an enormous web of 1400 tables connected depending on setup (is MRP / HR / SCM / etc used).
So, in short, sorry there is no tool like this at the moment, unless some partners know otherwise, then please share here.
