Is there a way to not show any leave plans or types to the worker when it is still a probationary employee?
Hello Nathaniel,
Thank you for the question - while I do not believe there is an official parameter or restriction, this may be accomplished through limiting access to the module itself for new employees. If a role were created that did not have access to use/view Leave and Absence, and all new hires placed within, then once the probationary period is finished, they could be moved into the regular employee access group. This would require manual intervention to accomplish, and might take some experimenting with roles to validate the results.
I also thought about restricting them via roles but wanted to know if there is another way to do it. I guess this is the OOB way. I appreciate the response. Thanks a lot.
