Extender: 2010 to 2015

Hello Everyone,

We are in the process of moving from GP 2010 to GP 2015. We have a few customization using Extender. With Extender not part of GP 2015 anymore, what do you all suggest i do to move those customization over to 2015?

Hi Dinesh,

The Extender and Builder series have been returned from Microsoft to eOne Solutions for the maintenance and continuous development to focus more on GP itself. Your Extender license is likely to have been renewed by your partner at the same time your GP license was due, but the billing came from eOne now.

eOne has updated versions of their product for GP2015, but be careful to look for all the technical details when upgrading from GP 2010, because there are some table changes involved and thus some SQL scripts to run before you upgrade, otherwise your Extender update will continuously prompt you for upgrade in GP.

Hello Dinesh,

I recommend contacting E-One solutions to get the latest build of Extender. It looks like they already have a 2015 compatible build released.
