Hi all,

May I know how does the parameter works when I perform Currency revaluation in GL?

Especially from and to date. What does it really take?

say example the currency we have in GL settings is as follows:

31/12/2015 SGD:USD 0.69

28/1/2016 SGD:USD 0.70

When I carry out revaluation from 1/1/2016 - 31/1/2016 is taking 31/12/2015 rate and not taking 28/1/2016.

Why is that so? I assume usually it take the rate closing to month end rather then the beginning.

Please advise.

Hello Ethan,

Have you checked the following TechNet site: technet.microsoft.com/.../aa573388.aspx

Other than that I would suggest that you simply setup your currency exchange rates, record some test transactions and run a currency revaluation in a demo/test system to see the outcome in your case. I believe this will be the fastest and easiest way for you to know :-)
