Dynamics SL2015 Barcode Fonts

We are in the process of printing ( trying to print ) barcodes for inventory ID's we would like to scan,  I was told that I need the "Barcode Font" in order to do this.  Currently it appears that I only have the "Report Font" available when printing.  Is the "Barcode Font" a file or driver that needs to be downloaded and installed separately?  I was also told that I may be able to print barcode to Labels?

Can someone tell me how I would go about assigning and printing barcodes for an Inventory ID?

    Hi,

    It really depend, depending on what you print from where, do you print on a label printer or on normal sheets? Do you use standard Dynamics programs or you get a third party to do that job?

    - In general, label printer will use a specific code to print the bar code.

    - If you use a third party that is made for this kind of job, it should have built in way to do it.

    - If you use Dynamics (or any program that is not made specifically for that, you can download a windows font, you may have to try depending on what you one to print and the scanner you will use. There are many different Barcode types, the one I usually use is Code 39 (code 3 of 9), you can find free font on internet that you install in Windows and use to print. Again, it's important to test with your scanner to confirm that everything is working fine.
