Block banking in user permissions

Hello world!

Is there a User Group or User Permission Set or something in Dynamics 365 Business Central online (aka: Financials) that I can assign to an employee so that they can do almost everything related to invoicing customers, accepting payments, changing forms, and working with vendors, but cannot see or access the bank accounts at all, including not seeing totals and transfers?

I've already read and tried the info here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/financials/ui-how-users-permissions but it's not helpful for what I specifically need.

I think this may have been on the development schedule, but I'm not sure if it has come to fruition, nor where to find out, other than here.

Any help or workarounds would be appreciated.

Thanks.

-Christine

The standard roles for these tasks are D365 ACCOUNTANTS, D365 ACC. PAYABLE, D365 ACC. RECEIVABLE,  D365 BANKING, D365 VENDOR, EDIT.

Just search for USERS and in the window where you can create a new user, you can select these roles.

    Hi.

    Thanks Stefano,

I'm not sure if I am doing it wrong, or what.

I do not want to create a new user in 0365/D365 or Business Central. I already have an employee and she was setup with various User Groups and Permission Sets. I deleted those and only added the User Permission Sets that you suggested and she was unable to get in at all.

Also, wouldn't we want to include:

    D365--

    CUSTOMER, EDIT

    ITEM, EDIT

    ITEM, VIEW

    PURCH DOC, EDIT

    PURCH DOC, POST

    VENDOR, VIEW

    And not include BANKING?

I've tried various User Groups, like RAPIDSTART, TEAM MEMBER, FULL ACCESS, and even tried creating my own User Group.

    Any other thoughts?

    -Christine

Unfortunately the roles actually available are what you can see in the USER window (permission sets). You need to play with that accordingly to your needs.
