Needed Permission vs. Needed Access Level

Hello,

I noticed that some form controls have 2 properties, namely

  • Needed Permission
  • Needed Access Level

Most of the controls have just “Needed Permission.” I think I know what it means.

Question: What does Needed Access Level mean? How is it different from the first one?

Thanks

SMC

    Hi SMC,

*Access Level is an application role for user interface. this how you touch the "Edit, Delete, View or Modify."

*Permission Level is a user role for application. Example: "Every doors step has secured and need to verify the user if applicable before you open.".

    Hi,

Permission group nodes is not available in D365 forms that was used to be AX2012. Is there anyway to check on how the 'automatic inference system' adds the control to the form in AOT?
