Special Character to be removed

In item list we are having special characters now client wants that without using any special characters he can search for item in sales line while creating orders. is there any way to customize this functionality in business central. as we also have the search description in that we can put the item without characters, but client is not agreeing on that so let me know the solution of this or any other alternative of this which cloud help us to solve this issue. also let me know is it possible or not.

Hello,

in the sales line, you can search for items entering Item No. Code, Item description, Unit price, or any data that you have in dropdown for item list.

This search work as you have defined ** on standard field filter, so it will give you all rows that have any entered character in the search for any column from drop-down.

I think that it is a max from standard functionality.

As Mustafa mentioned, in the sales lines you can search through any of the visible fields in the dropdown. Do you have any problems doing this?

Hi, Do you mean that you are not satisfied with the default search and require users to enter special characters before they can search?

This standard behavior cannot be changed. Although not recommended, you can also create Custom Filter Tokens.
