Hello,

What does this mean??

The field Unit of Measure Code of table Suggested Transfer Line contains a value (RL) that can not be found in the related table (Item Unit of Measure).

Thank you

The error indicates that the unit of measure code "RL" is being used in the Suggested Transfer Line table, but it cannot be found in the Item Unit of Measure table. This means the system doesn't recognize "RL" as a valid unit for the item, leading to a validation failure.

To resolve the issue, first verify that the unit of measure code "RL" is defined in the Item Unit of Measure table. If it’s not, you can add it or ensure the item is configured with a valid unit of measure. Additionally, check any processes or job queues that might be incorrectly referencing "RL" instead of the appropriate unit of measure for the item.

The core meaning of this error is that you have applied a value of RL unit of measure in the transfer line for an item but that item is not configured to use the RL Unit of Measure.

For example, I have configured a test item to be sold/ purchased in PCS unit of Measure. But Imagine I try and transfer it using the BAG unit of Measure! that is not right. and that is what Business Central is conveying in the error message.

The Unit of Measure configuration for the test item is PCS
While Creating a new Transfer Order, the default value in the Unit of Measure Code field is PCS
But an error is thrown when I manually type in the Unit of Measure BAG.
Just to prove, BAG is a valid Unit of Measure in the Unit of Measure Master. But not configured for the item in question.

So In Summary, somehow your Job Queue got a wrong value and tried to apply it in the UOM field in Transfer Line Table. I suggest you investigate the Transfer Order/ Item in Question. or the worst case, check the code under the Job Queue!

This error message indicates that the value “RL” in the “Unit of Measure Code” field of the “Suggested Transfer Line” table does not exist in the “Item Unit of Measure” table. Essentially, the system is trying to validate a unit of measure that hasn’t been defined or linked correctly in the related table.
