Need an Web Services that export product information from BC to CSV format.

Hi All,

We are running the newest Microsoft Business Central (BC - Cloud)

We know web service in BC but We need an Web Services that export product information from BC to CSV format. Is there any way to create a web service for export CSV Format?

    I guess there is no webservice that really reply with a CSV string.

    But you can create a custom API and have that provide you with CSV data encapsulated in a Json object.

    Personally i think it would be better to create a function that place a CSV file on a Azure blob storage.

    you cannot use a Page API in this case, but you can implement a custom API that returns e.g. a base 64 of the csv you create in Business central

    Hi,

    This can not be achieve through normal webservice, but yes if you want to do with the webservice, I will suggest please a Codeunit and write some code using the xmlport inside that codeunit and then publish that codeunit as a webservice, try that once if it helps you.

    Other way create a XMLport and call them.
