Dual-write issue : doesn't have primary company field

Hello everyone,

In regards of Dual-write, how to setup Primary Company Field in CDS ?

I have error while doing my first setup, it is to expense journal, like this :

Project validation failed. SourceEntitySchema: Expense journal has a primaryCompanyField set to DataAreaId and DestinationEntitySchema: crm_expenses doesn't have primary company field set. Dual-write only supports mapping between cross-company entities or company-specific entities from both sides..keys are missing for either AX or CRM.keys are missing for either CRM or AX
I have field company which is a lookup to Company table  (cdm_company), is there further setup I should be doing first ?
Thanks in advance

    Hi Tony,

Please make sure company mapping is done:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../company-data

    Hi,

Managed to solve the issue, which is actually not about the mapping but turns out I should put the integration key with the company code field.

While the status is running, but I didn't see any record in my F&O, anyone can suggest any good video on how to do this correctly ?

The table involved is LedgerJournalTable, in which I have created a custom entity for this Dual-Write purpose, but as mentioned, while it is said is running, and my expected process is to have an integration from the CDS (Dataverse) table to F&O, so in my F&O right now is still empty.

Is something wrong in my custom entity ?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Additional information, about the custom entity, I tried to test it using DIXF, and it is imported successfully. It is even succeeded to synchronize with CDS table.

I am then try again by create manually and directly from F&O menu (it is from Project > Journal > Expense) and it did synchronized as well to CDS.

So it looks like the problem is from CDS cannot go in / create a record to F&O. But in Dual Write setup still showing no error.

Any suggestion what should I look is highly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Maybe this will help:

I was trying to enter the company field as part of the integration key, but you need to enter the relationship that is defined in dataverse.
